Instalation MikroTik OS

System Requirements :
- PC with RAM minimal 64 MB
- Processor with minimal Pentium III with 800 MHz
- MikroTik ISO in CD
- CD-Rom Drive
- HD with space 500 MB or Higher
- 2 ethernet card (One for ISP, one for Router if want to make Hotspot)

Next Step
 Mulai dengan setting BIOS > Set to Boot From CD
 Setelah muncul installation screen, mulai saja.
 Ikuti screen command yang ada… Pilih All packet dengan menekan “ A “
 Lalu “ I “ yang berarti Install
 Installation pun berjalan secara automatic dengan mengextract file-file tersebut.
 Installation will finished in Approximately 15 minute (Tergantung PC yang digunakan, Semakin tinggi spesifikasinya 마무 semakin cepat proses instalasinya)

After Instalation
 Instalasi selesai, keluarkan CD MikroTik dari CD-Drive, Lalu muncul login screen
 Ketik : Login : Admin , dan Password : (kosong / default)
 Mulai dengan setting IP
eth1 > Ethernet 1 (Slot PCI yang dipakai sebagai slot Ethernet untuk IP dari ISP)
eth2 > Ethernet 2 (Slot PCI untuk dihubungkan dengan Router (Access Point) Jika ingin membangun Hotspot
Setting Step by step sebagai berikut:
ip address add address 215.11.9.15 netmask 255.255.255.224 ether1
ip address add address 192.168.15.254 netmask 255.255.255.224 ether2

 Lakukan Ping ke PC lain (jika berhasil lakukan langkah selanjutnya)
 Setting Gateway
Ketikan :
ip route add gateway=215.11.9.15 (ip dari ISP)
 Setting DNS primary
Ketikan :
ip dns set primary-dns=215.11.9.15 (ip dari ISP)
 Setting DNS secondary
Ketikan :
ip dns set secondary-dns=189.15.9.11 (ip ISP)
 Setting Masquerade
ip firewall nat add chain=srcnat action=masquerade out-interface=ether1
ini dimaksudkan untuk memprotect dari Malware, spyware, dll.
 Lakukan pinging ke Gateway dan salah satu web. Bila berhasil (connected) maka sudah selesai.
